Community Involvement

For over eleven years, Woodley’s Fine Furniture is proud to have teamed up with Volunteers of America city harvest food bank. Woodley’s has donated over 50 tons of food since 1996 to help Coloradoans in need through our Take Five canned food drive, as well as through supplemental funding.

The idea started in 1996 when customers were given a chance to save an additional 5% off their furniture purchase by bringing in five cans of food during the month of October. After collecting the cans from our seven showrooms, we count them and then match the number of cans collected. The food is then delivered by our Longmont warehouse crew to the Volunteers of America warehouse in Denver. We have run this campaign annually every October since 1996.
